the other day i was imagining myself to be in a temple, and i could almost smell the thick smoky incense. i remember praying for peace of mind, and well, strength and wisdom. then i asked the boss up there to give me a sign. i believe in fate, i remember telling shawn, and his exasperation in telling me that fate doesnt exist and that we control our destiny ;)
but i believe in fate so i did it my way.
and i saw the sign i was waiting for. ;)
i saw him walking towards the escalator. and my heart skipped a beat.
but somehow i cant find the courage or sense to fight for it anymore. because even as friends, my parents still cant accept him. so maybe a break is good. breathing space for all of us.
we'll see what happens. ;)
cos time, catches everyone
and the world goes round the sun
but the memory lives on in my heart
going back to the start
forever,
forever,
forever.

i dont wanna miss a thingg
was on my way home today on the mrt, and at kembangan i was looking out of the window and i saw this dad playing rugby with his two kids. and he obviously wasnt tackling his kids but they looked so ridiculously happy playing by themselves in the huge field, and i couldnt help but smile. and then corrinne may's 'journey' came on my ipod. and i thought, i made a choice.
so this blog is back, and because there are still many beautiful things in life that i want to write about, talk about and just rattle on.
and so work has been quite okay so far, and its really because everyone's so friendly. but i havent had the chance to really talk to any of them over lunch yet, and they JUST extended my working hours ;( and now with amore at night my schedule is quite packed. i kinda like my life this way. i think im still born to be a really hard worker. as much as i like disney channel it really doesnt keep me happy for long. although i still wanna watch 'jump in'. :)
okay so ppl please come book me for lunches and dinners because i'd be working until i almost have to go back. and im at happening clarke quay so theres no excuse not to come!
;)

life.?
this morning on my way to my job interview i was thinking about how i should end this blog because 'it just isnt turning out the way i had wanted it to be'. and then i missed my bus but i made it in time for my interview.
on my way back it was pouring heavily and i saw a man at the back of a truck hiding under an umbrella, which was obviously no match for the pouring rain. and i thought. i am lucky.
so i thought of something i said during my sec sch days when we had to give a presentation from national geog.
'count your blessings.'
and so i did.
1. i was safe and dry in the bus while others were in the rain
2. an ambulance zoomed past me with its loud sirens, and i knew i was lucky to be alive and well.
3. i got a job.
4. my mum got me shoes, and gave me a hug before i slept last night.
5. my pimples are pretty much gone, and im pretty sure im magazine cover material.
6. ill soon have a great bod to go with that pretty face cos my mum signed me up for unlimited amore classes.
7. i got to see my dear sister in australia.
8. i got to see cairns, one of the most beautiful places on earth i reckon.
9. i have too many clothes and shoes for my little body.
so what if i cant see him. life isnt that bad after all, right?
or am i kidding myself.
