first piece n i got to hear yoyoma play. really, i thot he was very gd. u cld actually feel the cello tellin u a story- mellow, seasoned, wise n sorrowful. or maybe it was his excessive tremolo'ing. hm but still i thot he was gd.
i tink last nite's programme might have been a lil more ethnic. more indian instruments. tabla n all.
got to hear shakuhuchi. haha rem all the mep days when we cldnt tell shakuhuchi frm hichiriki or whatnots.
there was this great virtuoisitic sheng player too. he's really quite gd too.
though most of the time i just sat there n pretended that i understood everybit of the concert. ;D

going lil india again to collect the saris. yeahh. n maybe ill drop by tk since they havin choir camp n i know wad time ms lim gonna be there. heh heh. lets hope i make it bck there in time.

after pw being stagnant n stale for so long, i had my meetin with the girls today. we did quite a few thgs. hey we realised we found out quite a bit for the 'wad will happen in ten yrs time'. n we kinda started our layout for the written report.

went little india today. we're gonna wear saris in germany yeah. aniwae after much bumpin arnd we saw some really nices ones in the shop where i bought my first sari. i was with linzi that time. i still rem! heh. i rem the owner being v helpful.. tho diff ppl but they were equally nice.
we bought four colours. red darkpinky purple blue. i lk the purple but i tink i prefer the pink much more. aniwae i haf a reddish top liao so save money. ;D
whee. n i replied sheena in the choir forum. since she said no one replied to her posts on groupings ahah. its quite fun, this whole indiany thg.

then me n sheena got pretty excited n our whole msn convo seemed to evolve only arnd the words 'saris' 'beautiful' 'exciting' 'cant wait'. ;D

sometimes i feel so blessed. yesterday when i walked into my dad's shop i felt so different. hey, here i am enjoyin the comforts of a pretty luxurious life while he's down there workin so hard, sweatin, liftin weights, just to bring home money to pay for all our needs. im proud to be his daughter ;D

why does family business always go bust? or rather, why cant they stay the way it is? bcoz every generation is different. n more often the succeedin ones simply arent their fathers, n they dont fit the bill for being in the forefront for such a large n relatively successful company. but does this spell the end for the company? i hope not. maybe someday one spirited young lady will try to change everythg. a ha.

yesterday i talked to abiel. he's Finally movin. well he was quite troubled n i dun tink i really knew wad to say, so i just listened. hm. cant say everythg will be alright since it wont be, but i guess it can all be made better if u jst stay by her side. i simply cant imagine losin someone so close too. its too painful to even tink bout it.

swimming, baby.

sent my mum n aunt off to the bus terminal to johore. then my sis n i went bugis. to shop :D heh heh. she bought me lunch n a skirt frm dorothy perkins. haha it pays to have a sis who works for her own money. i really lk one skirt frm esprit too but its a lil too ex. haha nvm, ive grown up. its ok if i dont get to owe the skirt, at least i got to try it once hahaah. ;D

then i went swimmin! since goodness knows how long. aniwae i realised i still haf a fear for deep waters. i kinda chickened out when it got to the deep part n so i turned 90degrees n swam to the side. i must have looked funny, but nvm. oh n there was this cute lil boy there too. in his float. aha he was swimmin n counting at the same time. at one pt of time he splashed water at me. so adorable haha.
then we ate at sea sports centre. my dad was talkin to this waiter about fishin nearby. then this waiter started talkin bout the place further down which he knows got a lot of fish but its kinda haunted. lk how when u throw smthg it'll throw bck at u, then theres a hse there which is empty, blah. Ah i was lk 'okay.. Stop Tellin ME.' oh well.

last choir prac today. aww. had workshop wif velasco. he's really fantastic, i must say. bruckner has nt been soundin so gd for so long.. its wonderful to sing it. as daifeng said, u just feel lk ur flyin. quite true, coz the song kinda lifts u up n sucks out every energy u haf.. ahh. now i understand y nelson kept the song for five yrs n didnt use it, only until now. we mustnt let him (n ourselves) down!
aniwae i was being evil again n made them sing etlingua in quartet. n the best part? i didnt haf to sing coz velasco arrived. heh. ;D haha bing im still waitin for u to kill me slowly.. ;D

intention was to have a nice after choir prac dinner. i did, ;D. had a dinner walk wif gracia haha. we were just walkin arnd parkway, n laughin about everythg.
aniwae mph has this shrek 2 balloony thg. then gracia wanted to take a pic of it usin my phone, so we waited till the coast was clear then i quickly snapped a pic of her. it was hilarious. u cant even see the whole 'S'!
then we (haha) walked into top 20 n looked at the slippers. we were hopin no one saw us there. ahha.
n oh yah, we bought our big nice earrings liao! of coz i bought a yellow one n gracia bought a pink one. we had a hard time takin the earrings out bcoz everytime we take one out another one will fall off the rack. so we kinda spent half our time pickin fallen earrings frm the floor. ahha. its gracia lah, butterfingers. tsktsk.

went st john's island yesterday before goin for the concert. for marine biology stuff. it was quite interesting. got to learn bout corals. got to touch them, touch starfishes, sea apple, some purple slug, a white n black stripey baby shark, sea cucumber, hermit crab, see giant clams. n my pretty yellow fish in the tank. it was quite fun.
then me eug joel n jonathan walked to esplanade.. we were supposed to eat together until me n eug walked past mango at raffles city n we saw a really fantastically shiny top on the display model so we kinda rushed into the shop to look at it ahah.
we ended up eatin subway by ourselves n i bought mrs fields brownies for my sis hahaha. it wrote there three for 6bucks, but the person charged me 6.20 so as i paid i asked the cashier.. he looked stricken then he apologised for his mistake. then eug started laughin. Silly girl. ahah. but it was funny. she said i had a smirk look on my face ahaah. ;D brownies are nice..

went to watch sso with six choirs perform mahler's symphony of a thousand. im nt too sure wad its bout (too lazy to read the programme) but i noe theres a spiritual story behind it.. gd show overall though i really cldnt follow even with the programme booklet infront of me. i failed as a mep student. but at least i enjoyed it. ;)

last two days had been awfully packed for me. ive been out supporting badminton girls, goin for band concert, bio makeup tutorial, choir, n guitar ensemble concert.

we had half day on fri. but i ended at bout 12 coz my tutors wanted to have makeup tutorials.. aniwae our last venue was lt4. i was playin with the mic when everyone was leaving.. then as amir switched off the lights i called eug back. n we just sang in the lt :D ahha quite crazy but it felt nice. though i was scared of the dark. eug has such a fantastic voice its so wonderful to hear her sing anythg. hope she wins the song writing competition again!

met mollie yesterday while going out for dinner. sorry gracia i ditched u. i honestly didnt noe all of them werent going to stay! aniwae mollie wanted to cut hair. but he ended up wantin to eat at all the expensive places. haha. aniwae eventually i joined gracia at bk. had a nice dinner before we went bck to vj for concert. i think gracia caught a bit of my evilness.. hahaha.

i tink the golf thg is giving some probs. im sorry jonathan lucas mich if i had made thgs more difficult for u guys tt day but i really wanted to get it across to him tt choir is just a cca, lk every other cca, which requires a high level of commitment n long hours of trainin if the need arises. so wads so different btwn choir n all the other sports cca?? u bloody limkompoot. u made it sound lk choir was some rigid cult followin. sigh that was then i felt as if august's words were true.. rem the pep talk he gave us tt time. bout choir not being very recognized in vj though we're held in high regards by other choirs.

cant wait for germany trip. first i have to get thru my midyrs though. hahaha. we girls got silly plans. to buy cheap shades so we can wear there. then we'll wear all black n we can pose at the airports with our shades. oh ahah or we can wear really bright colours or auspicious colurs lk REd coz fin-air is , well, highest casualty rate. (although they give delicious mashmallow teacakes i tink.) yeahh but i hope we can do well over there. work hard!

soccer finals today. ;) the whole sch seemed to be preparing for it coz no one was in the mood for lessons..

it was gd. first time i ever watched a full match, live somemore! heh. janice was explainin to me wad was goin on.. red cards n stuff. yeahh. stepover. :)

it was actually rainin heavily n there were lightning which was really scary.. the match before ours (secondary sch finals) had to be stopped. aniwae the weather got better so yeah. the match before us was a bit tyco-- they stopped during second half n at that time it was 2-0, greenview leading. when they resumed the match, fuchun scored 3 goals in ten mins. wth. then it was a 3-3 draw. penalty kicks.. argh it was nerve wrecking. oh well fuchun won.

aniwae vj vs sajc. :D vj soccer rox! okay i didnt tink they were fantastic durin first half but second half they were really gd. u cld see all the fantastic dribblin n stepovers, n all the strategies tt they were playin (tho i couldnt really figure out their formation. oh wells) it was FANTASTIC. choljoon(chojuun? choljun?) was really gd. striker.. i haf no idea how many goals he scored out of the four. (FOUR!! the score was 4-1 )then theres 14, 7, 2, n the goalkeeper. 10's nt too bad either. imran played well too. ;) haha yesh i can tell which players r gd. haha actually nt really its just tt i can identify who those players are.. actually all were gd lah, they deserve TWO days off!! heh.

i cheered my heart out. whee. no i still got my voice. ;)

there was this really irritatin baskety guy who came to stand in front of us durin second half. we wanted to shake our shakers really hard n hit him 'accidentally'. ;)

though i thot it was quite bad of mrs chan to nt really support cricket, but oh well. tts the way the sch is shaped. just lk the SCs gettin full day off on their investiture day, while ct council only got half day off.

aniwae watchin the coucil invest made me miss being a tkgs prefect. all our investitures. hey our entrance was so cool k- our music is so much funkier n we stride in with style. woohoo. my year we had this really cool song tt started wif 'ladies n gentlement, blah blah blah(i cant rem.)' then all our syncronised standin up n sittin down. ;) i was just tinkin bout tk when jane smsed me sayin she felt sad. haha so we were msgin each other :) after tt i walked wif her back to class, n later on we signed at the card for the sports finals.. for badminton girls we wrote 'alll the best for ex tkgians badminton girls!' coz there really are quite a few of them inside.. then we wrote the sch song below n signed our big names. ;) i sat wif her for lecture too n were fillin on each other bout our lives.. ok gossipin is a shorter way of sayin it ahah. i miss being part of a group of students who have a lot of connections wif the sch staff n gets to organise n plan events for the sch.. i miss the feelin of belongin to this group of wonderful girls who are willin to sacrifice time off their schedule n serve the sch by offerin free manual labour. ;D but i dont regret nt joinin council.. how cld i give up choir for council?? i just hope my juniors will have similar experiences tt i had, n that they'll grow n learn as they take on responsibilites(in pb or choir), n take wif them valuable memories when they leave tk.

today the girls teased me endlessly bout me floatin up to the sky. (airhead). bahh. evils.

wad a gd movie. who said anythg bout getting to see brad pitt's butt thrice? u dont get to see it at all! bluff me. aniwae the first part of the movie made me feel lk its some c grade movie.. tt this guy is all bout sex n stuff. but really, i love this movie. i cried at the part when the father went to plead wif brad pitt to get eric bana's body back.. im so glad i went to watch wif my parents. at least i noe my mum wld be cryin too ;D i winced at all the gory parts (as usual, only this time i didnt haf popcorn to chew on) its nt just some cheesy 'people-killin-each-other' kind of movie. i love the characters in the movie.. great movie. go catch it if u havent!
