my house smells really nice now. my mum bought five big stalks of lilies;) really pretty and brightens up the whole house. really should do this more often! doesnt cost much to beautify a house.

i havent touched any of my books im such a lousy reader. i think i had a three hour afternoon siesta today sighh im officially a pig at the rate im eating. my mum cooked alot today, for both lunch and dinner. luckily catered food in uk will be such a turnoff;) i still have hope of not becoming fatty teo.

ive cleared out my cupboard, halfpacked my suitcase, and i listen to my mummy. im a gd girl;)

am super tired now and driving was lk shite but its not suppposed to be! but just went to visit bingybong at nus campus, i alr lk it there cos they have cheap macs! well guess who u'll be seeing more at nus;) anw we all have plans to crash bing's dorm one day (havent told bing yet though:D) and i have plans to crash eug's dorm one day so yay.

lse is having a function at a bar, from 7-9pm. tsktsk they're alr introducing us to drinking, those beerbellies-trotting-drunkards.

had a very nice chat on the phone last nite with eug my no.1 fan(sorry rai i stole ur only member of ur fanclub) and well now im listenin to steph sun's 我不难过 and tt just reminds me of the time in vj when i keep listening to that song over and over again and i nv tire of it. now tt my silly itunes lost all my songs i can only play tt song frm a website. i cant wait to get to eug's itunes.

i borrowed four books and bought one book so im gonna do alot of reading (at least i try) for the next few wks.

im thinking that the nxt few weeks will pass by very quickly and before i even want to ill be whisked off on quantas to a whole new place for a whole new beginning. ive never had the 'i dont wanna leave this plc' kind of mindset, in fact im quite rah-rahing to go;) but its true there are so many things i still wanna do (sleepoverssss) and so many places i still wanna go(sentosa! no zoo hahaha) and so many ppl i wanna meet. lets start with going ladies night;)

i woke up this morning and i knew it was gonna be a bad day. but i didnt realise how bad until i said gd morning to my mum and *gasp* i sounded lk skunk!! (only without the body. er. yeah.) and omg so disgusting. but i guess i am much better than skunk cos i didnt need fried chicken wings to hit my bass notes. baah baaaaah baaaaaaah.

and now im down with a slight fever, its just horrible. i can play pleghmball with may, woohoo.

feels great to win musica sacra, really! coming frm a singaporean choir where obviously our culture isnt as strong or deep as the other european countries. furthermore vocally we arent not as oblong faced as them. it is a great feat. im proud of ourselves;) i started crying really badly when i heard tt our marks were beyond 86, but really, didnt expect to be champions.
and so i sang our national anthem for the second time on the olympics stage:)
contemp got gold, which is gd, yay.

hmm the trip has been fun fun fun. i made alot of friends(its just funny how living together makes a difference) and honestly i felt tt there werent any stress on us to perform well, but just to do our best.

and thanks for making me realise the true meaning of singing noman. ;) this is the first time i cried singing it. the only other time i can rem crying lk i did in xiamen was when mary left for usa cos i simply couldnt imagine facing vjchoir without mary as my bitching buddy;( so pls dont think of me as a crybaby! anw i felt really sad cos i cant imagine chorale without the laolaos, and ive long associated chorale with them and them only. sigh one day ill be called laolao too;( but ppl come and go, and tts wad the song is about. so thanks victoria chorale;)

anw nv stay on a floor with all boys. when they pass by ur room they'll press the doorbell, knock on ur door, and run away. worst of all, they stink up ur room! eeeeww. ahha. and its true k our room smelled sour on the day after they played games in our room.

we must have played saboteur at least fifteen times tt night, and polar bear at least twenty times the whole trip.:)

and ill always rem the bitching session outside mingguo's room. man u can really get a six pack with chorale's help

and im the man, and emma's my woman. haha.

and ice cream is heaty, but not fried chicken wings - skunk the hunk.

and i cant beat the queen bitch (damn!) haha.

i wanted to go offline alr, but i heard the recording for contemporary and decided to dl stabat's one as well. just to remind myself of how far we've improved in a wk/how we CAN improve in a wk. today's performance was by far, the best run through we've had, but we still have a long way to go baby. its funny how i feel towards chorale, i cant quite put my finger to it. i dont feel attached to it, but all the same i am very affected by it. when we dont do well i feel the frustrations(i know we all want to do well but somewhere its just not happening), but because its chorale i just shut up and listen to what others have got to say(i think age agrees very well with me; as i grow older, my bossiness gets curbed more and more!)and then at dinner i was all thoughtful and quiet. so much so i wasnt hungry at all.
so, just one wk more to flying off and we're all gearing up to go. yay go chorale. me and maylingleemayling will buy the beautifulest small cute sg flags so we can all wave them arnd in xiamen and tell everyone happy national day;D

i stayed up the whole night(watched love actually to pass off time) just to see zidane being sent off cos he head butted this stupid italian lk a bull? gosh how silly was tt. and i really thought france wld win cos of the early goal. and they had lotsa chances in the second half and the extra time. argh. Argh. ARGH.

backstepkick, kick.

haha im super slow but hey everyone shd go sign up for this care to dance thg k? its a volunteer thg which is half lindy hop workshop and the other half u get to teach someone else;) i got to teach cute pri sch kids. my kid was this monkeyish girl called whitney( i had to ask her if she cld sing me a whitney housten song..and she rolled her eyes at me!!) but she was really adorable and i think she had a lot of fun with me;D she kept tryin to show me a dead lizard, and ran off to explore snails and grasshoppers in her sch garden while i think i stood lk one metre away.
anw my grp was fantastically nice. we had three chiobus(AHEM) one tsd girl one rj girl three crazy ri boys one nus mama one nba yaoming one friendly girl and one deep thinker.
and i had my first speed dating experience haha. cos we kept changing partners while learnin the dance and one of our frens commented tt it was alike speed dating. then without missing a beat he turned to his partner and said 'i like to walk, what about you?'aha. ri boysss.

so i came back home tt day with a happy heart and aching legs. i shd be going for more dancing this fri with dearest rai, yay

got a random phone call from rai today;D she was looking back at our paper conversations during lectures and she came across funny stuff so she decided to share with me. i could remember some, and it felt really good to laugh over them again;D now we're all so separated sometimes and its hard to talk and share like before. but we all grow up and we all move on so its all part of growing up. and life. ;D but we're meeting up tues so yay

high tea buffet was not too bad, but definitely left me with no room for billy bombers. i realised that i really miss talking to michelle;D im glad she had time to spare before dinner! its refreshing to not talk about clothes and makeup and the same few boys

im just glad that my sis is back so i can get am chauffeur and a going out buddy:D

went back vj to collect our cert today. its such a stange thg to see vj so quiet and empty. but we walked through the tree houses and concluded that the new ropes didnt give us a sense of security as the old ones did. now the treehouses feel scary. ;D
and i just found out tt the hockey plc is called hocker centre. rollseyes at hockey boys.

being out today was fun;D although i think nic prob felt out of plc while we talked about ytt and yst and t's and p's ;D and revlon lipsticks!

i just hope my cold will go away SOON.

imagine the amount of money id save! (imagine the amt of clothes i can buy..)

had an early day today so when i got to siglap(i was early) i drank starbucks. BIG mistake. now im still awake. my eyes. cant close. have got a whole day to party tmr. ah.

anw chorale today was.. tiring. haix. but after a while when tiredness gets to everyone's head we start doing crazy stuff. like acting groupies for terrence's silly act cute actions (yucks:D) and aiyah just talkin nonsense like sayin how the song is killing us.

anw im going down little india AGAIN. i really shd go marry an indian.

vj boleh!

i just love soakin up in the atmosphere;D and let me say this again: vj is the only soccer i watch.(contrary to popular belief, no, i do not have any eyecandies in the soccer team(i noe ur out there thinking about this!)) ahha. poor rai had sorethroat so she couldnt shout, but im quite sure janice and i did a gd job for her;) i really miss being a student. we thot wearin vj tees wld make us 'blend in' but we realised no one was wearin pe attire.
i reserved seats for rosh thinking that rach was gonna turn up but in the end the indian society raided our area and turned it into a bhangra party:D indian boys will be indian boys. they were really funny to look at and listen to(yes we eavesdropped on their jokes) and they had bhangra moves for every cheer. its amazing. and really fun! i had to stop myself frm shakin my hands together with them..
janice had to 'talk' to these five guys who were sitting infront of us cos they were simply not cheering. im not too sure if they were actually interested in the match, but hey they were sitting right in front. but in the end they did seem to enjoy themselves(maybe cos vj did win in the end).
anw. we won! HA.

the weather nowadays is not gd at all. everyone shd save on gas and fry eggs in the open. luckily for me i found the perfect way to cool down;) iced milo. and if u use two packets of those 3in1 thgs, it taste so much better;D yummy!

im not too sure if i sound selfish sayin this, but i really dont agree with girls who watch their weight too much. i DO grow fat too, but i think its much more unhealthy to watch your weight and what you eat and basically, deprive urself of good food! or sufficient food, for some ppl. pls dont do this to urself! just eat proper meals and jump arnd screamin for vjsoccer and we'll all be fine;)

and sometimes guys arent everythg. im not too sure how that works out to be, but if you keep thinkin about this boy and that boy and what's he gonna do then baby, you've got a problem. but it can be cured;D girls night out!

cos at the end of the day you'd realise that for all the times you were frettin over what to wear and what to buy and where to eat at, someone on the other side of the world is thinking of the same qns, but in a different way that you are.

its the heat tts makin me think such stuff. blame it on the weather.;D

anw before i chronicle my tales of tuitioning my kids pls rem that ive nv been a very patient person. but i must say i surprised myself. ;) this girl kinda started throwing a tantrum when i tried to go through fractions which was her weaker area, and i refrained frm slappin her(:D) instead i tried to talk sense to her and in the end she did kinda end up half listenin to me instead of sulking. which is gd!
and my little boy ran out of the room before the lesson ended so i made him come back and finish a paper before he can go off. but he managed to slip out again claimin tt he really needed to go toilet. and he brought a clock in and put it right in front of me.

i know everyone's read 'mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird' but i only just read it. for some strange reasons i never got past the first chapter when i read it the last times. anw. there are some parts which you just feel like crying, sigh. from reading a book! wad a sissy;) but yes. GO READ IT. ;D

hi, my name is superherogirl and my hobbies are eating and sleeping. ;)

finally replied to lse, whee. may went off to london today and i got quite excited just callin her and askin her bout the accommodation. i really hope we get to stay together;) it wld be nice to have a familiar face around.

i figured that all the gd thgs in my life came about due to an earlier, well, unsmoothness. so i decided to list a few possible fantastic scenarios that can arise out of this:)
1. maybe ill really become a really gd lawyer. ha ha ha.
2. ill become more frugal;) which is a gd thg! no more 9.90 shoes.
3. i wont be bonded. Which means-- helloo brit guys. *smirks*

alright so friday is officially over and im, honestly, in quite a lousy mood. i am chirpy bout it, but of cos when you dont feel gd, you just dont and it takes some time to get over it.

i can be so stubborn at times.

been having dizzy spells the whole of today, so i slept alot ;) its not a ploy to get more slp!

went for workers' party's rally last nite. my mum actually succeeded in draggin me out of the hse and we walked round the reservoir to get to the hawker for dinner. anw the field at the rally was really muddy and my feet was soaked. my poor mum got her feet wet too.
frm my astute observation, the workers' party rally epitomised singaporean behaviour.
1. by complaining. i dont think i heard solutions for most of the party's complaints.
2. singaporeans have this inate passionate response to free stuff. most of the rally went like this: '...lower rates!'(APPLAUSE).... cheaper cost of living(APPLAUSE).. free stuff!(APPLAUSE).... spend less money!(APPLAUSE)'
and therefore we vote for them. yeah right as if theres always money to be given out. i am such a rightist.
3. we're a curious bunch of ppl. the turnout was quite impressive;)

cant wait for this wk to be over!
